Hey There!

Today did not turn out in any way how I wanted it to. Strange how often that happens.

After I made coffee this morning I sat down to write a follow-up email to an organization whose meeting room technology I reviewed. Almost as soon as I finished that, DW made a large breakfast of sweet potato pancakes and ham, so I ate that (in addition to the coconut cake slice I had with coffee). I was too full to go out for my walk, so I thought I'd wait a bit.

I decided to go outside and cut down my neighbor'r thorn jungle on the side of her house. Prickly work, but I have to have all my brush ready for next week. I'm letting it dry on the side of the house before moving it over.

I was about to leave for my walk when DW announced she was going for her flu shot and did I want to go with her. I didn't, but I did anyway. So off to the pharmacy instead of on the walk.

By the time I got back, it was time to do some research for an interview I had scheduled at 1:00. The interview went lousy because the person I interviews was just a super-talker. I asked a question, and he went off for 20 minutes. At the end, we decided to trash it and re-do it next week. Sometimes people just know too much!

I was about to go for a walk when Son1 (who accidentally washed his iPhone and was looking for help in choosing another) let me know that Jomboy Media's cricket team was playing in a beach criclet tournament in Barbados that was streaming on YouTube. So I tuned in to watch that.

I was about to head out for my walk when the feeling of sleep came over me, so I took a nap instead.

I could have gone out for a walk when I woke up, but I remembered I hadn't written today's post, so here I am writing instead of walking.

By the time I finish writing this, dinner will be ready. Maybe I'll go out for a walk after dinner. I'll take my phone and listen to the ball game and get a mile in at least. Maybe. I'll probably come back to listen or watch the remainder of the game. Then some general internet cruising, and bed.

And there you have it. Call it a day.

'Til We Meet Again!
