Hey There! It's 8:11 AM

Looks like today will be a cloudy and gloomy day. It's officially the Season of Dark and Gloom in this part of the country. Being someone afflicted with SAD, I never look forward to this time of year. It's the main reason I decided to escape to AZ last year, and again this year.

Yesterday turned out OK overall. I took DW to her PT session, then went over to Home Depot to buy some supplies, in particular RV antifreeze. Came back, and for once I got the process right. It didn't take me but 10 minutes to get the antifreeze into the water lines as well as some into the tanks. In years past I've done so much fumbling about, but this year I remembered you have to leave all the faucets open to being with, and then close them from back to front as the lines fill. Yay! I was done before having to pick up DW from PT. I also pulled the house battery and took it downstairs for charging. It's a lithium ion battery, so it doesn't need to sit on a charger all winter, which is great. What's left to do is merely some interior preparation.

In the afternoon I went to my tech student's house to swap out a phone on her land line. I think now she's quite happy with her setup. I hope it works OK for her. She didn't have any other questions for me, which I was surprised by. I actually got out a little early!

I came home and really didn't do much of anything. I took the motor home for a short ride to get the juices going and got her settled in the back of the driveway. I think I took a short late nap. There was a lot of chatter between Son1's family and DW about the Thanksgiving menu. Things are getting ironed out, but the shopping still has to be done.

Dinner was leftover chicken baked into a casserole of some sort. I like casseroles and one-dish dinners a lot. Then we sat down to watch the regional football team lose. The people are sad.
