Hey There! It's 12:57 PM EDT, 55°F, sunny, Wind 14 mph SW

I'm a little late today because last night I went to teach at Son2's studio, and stayed overnight with him at his GF's house. So I only got back home earlier today, around 11:15 AM.

Yesterday was nothing particularly out of the ordinary. I had an abbreviated morning routine because I had a dentist appointment for a cleaning at 9:30 AM, so I had my coffee and headlines, wrote yesterday's entry, got cleaned up and headed out. My hygienist is someone I've been going to for years now, so we always have a nice conversation while she works on my teeth. I can't say my dental hygiene is the best, but it's not the worst either. However, I do go for cleanings 3x a year instead of twice, so that tells you something. And I've had my fair share of teeth capped, an implant or two, and some teeth permanently gone. But I'm still OK at the moment all things considered. Using a water pik has been added to my routine, but I still suck at flossing and brushing before bed. Hence the more frequent visits.

After my cleaning I went to the store to buy some bagels. I like a cinnamon raisin bagel with peanut butter as a breakfast. I discovered a new bagel - a protein bagel. They are adding protein to everything! This 4-pack of bagels has 24 grams of protein added to each bagel. So having peanut butter with this bagel sure packs in the protein first thing. I haven't tasted one yet; I'll let you know when I do.

Then I got things together for my 2-hour trip to the studio. I also got in an interview for my podcast, so now I have all three in the can and ready for editing. It's going to be my last podcast of the season until the fall. I'll be looking forward to the hiatus.

I had some leftovers for a late lunch and DW packed a sandwich for me, since I wasn't going to get any proper dinner. The ride to the studio was hampered by a weird accident on the interstate (a car got wedged under a tanker truck) and some city rush hour traffic. We taught the class together, and then went over to GF's house. She had a late snack of homemade fried rice and Aldi eggrolls. We sat up and chatted a bit about the future. Son2 wants a house, so we talked about that, and about DW and I moving closer to him in the future. I am sure we'll be re-locating within the next three+ years, but we were looking for a duplex or something along those lines. I think he's a little reluctant at the moment to buy a house and just have the three of us live there, but he may come around to that as he shops the market. I might also be getting new hearing aids, as GF now works as the front receptionist for an audiology clinic. Hearing is a bit of an issue with me, and I could really use a set of new hearing aids, as mine are about 15 or more years old. Bedtime was around 11:10 or so.

Notable Deaths: Clarence Carter, soul/pop singer ("Slip Away"), 90.

PS - My thanks to the many of you who seem to have followed me over to this blog. This blog was never intended for anyone to take seriously except myself as a recording of my day-to-day activities and events, and so there's no real attempt at anything "meaningful."
