Hey There! It's 9:03 AM EDT, 62°F, Humidity 81%, Wind 15 mph SW, sunny
Yesterday was not an unusual day. Same old same old. Although we did wake up to a hellacious rainstorm. After my morning routine I dropped off my car for repairs, and walked back home, which I considered to be my morning walk. It's not very far, less than a mile, but I figured I would get in some exercise that way without busting my hump too much and burning energy. I was supposed to bring it in Wednesday, but forgot.
When I got home, I had breakfast (a bowl of oat bran), and then tried to collect my thoughts for the day. I made an appointment to have the other car detailed, as it seems to have a lingering cigar odor from the last time I played poker. I also had a text chat with a friend who is heading back to Chicago after spending a few years locally to take care of his mother. She had a pretty bad fall, so they have placed her in a nursing home, and he can now go back to his life in Chicago.
I had an interview set up with a guest coming to the performing arts center, so I spent the rest of the morning doing research on him and then doing the interview. It was a tight schedule, so as soon as the interview was done I had to get into the car and get to the project meeting for the day.
The afternoon was spent on the project. We also finalized a plan to take it to Big City come late September. I am not really interested in doing that, but I'll hang on until it's done for the sake of the group. After that, no more projects.
I got home around 6 PM and had a dinner of pasta shells with pork sauce. I think I ate too much. Then I settled in for the ball game, which we lost. I did some more research on plug-in solar, looking to see when the governor of our state will sign the bill. I also took in a couple of other videos as well before calling it a night. After cleaning the kitchen, I went to bed at 11:03 PM. Not a terribly exciting day. Hardly worth writing about, but this is TommyEveryday, and I suppose every entry can't be terribly exciting. Maybe none of them are. But it's a good exercise for me personally, and I want to reach the goal of one year of writing, coming up soon.
'Til We Meet Again!
