I'm a little late out of the gate this morning because I went to play my first round of golf for the season. Just came back from walking nine holes, and feeling a little bit sore. So how about we keep it short?
Yesterday the highlights consisted of buying a new domain name and seeing if I could port my current public blog to the new domain name. I am missing some steps somewhere along the way, so I've still got some work to do as far as that's concerned. It's a tricky business and I still haven't found a way to make it happen. I'll be investigating more today.
I also went out and helped my golfing partner of today work on his podcast. He lost all the instructions I gave him last year, so we had to start from scratch. Not too hard. Hopefully he can get it off the ground.
I also wrote a long post for my blog as well, which took up a good deal of time. I'll just call it a career-ending piece, why I am leaving my career. Nothing too earth-shattering, just something to formalize the matter. After finishing my project it's time not to do any of that work ever again. Writing about that fact will help me make it "official" and come to grips with it.
Dinner was some Asian pork meatballs in a pineapple sauce over rice. Not bad. Then after dinner I watched the condensed version of the ball game - another bad loss in extra innings due to walking in the winning run. Foolish.
DW and I then picked up the latest episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Sort of a psychological horror episode focusing on three of the crew. Intriguing, but sometimes I wish they'd not dive so deep into character and concentrate more on action and adventure. A good balance is nice, but I tend to want to see more sci-fi action.
After that I watched a Woodzman video. I haven't watched one in a long time, so I have to catch up. Bedtime was around 11:02.
