Hey There! It's 72°F, Humidity 93%, Wind 5 mph N, overcast /muggy

There are muffins this morning! DW baked while I was gone. Sweet.

Yesterday was somewhat normal, but I am still bothered by my inner ear condition. It somewhat feels like the dullest of headaches, and turning left and right is still not smooth. But I had to get up and get to the day's project session, so I got it together and went through my morning routine.

I had some yogurt, a breakfast burrito, and a slice of bread with peanut butter for breakfast. DW and I then took the Kia, which I had to let sit and charge the battery all day Wednesday, to the shop for brakes and now a new battery. Son1 let me know he had the plates for the car exchange, so we decided on a meeting place for a Sunday exchange. I am also picking up his wife's daughter from an excursion with her grandmother, and will be returning her to Son1 so he can bring her home. After that I showered up, rested just a little bit more, and went off for the day's session.

It went OK. It was hard slogging again, but I think we made progress. It's really becoming a matter of repetition and retention. We have to continue to get enough reps in to be able to retain the information consistently from one day to the next. We had to work in a different room, but it was not really much of a problem. I was able to keep my balance under containment. By the end of the session I was worn out. I have these next three days off, so the plan is to get a lot of rest and continue to go over everything at home with DW.

I took the Venza to rehearsal since at this point I don't know whether or not the EV charging station I've been using will be available anymore for the rest of the time I'm going there. I filled up the Venza with gas. It still had 1/4 of a tank left, but I figured with three days off, just as well to fill it now. $4/gal. Total cost $51. Quite a shock to someone who had been recharging an EV for at most $1.25 a charge.

When I got home, DW and I thought she had misplaced one of the EV fobs. We searched for some time before I realized I still had a fob in my backpack. DW put one of the fobs on her ring for safekeeping.

Dinner was a leftover steak stir fry for me, while DW had a veggie stir fry with scrambled egg. She let me eat all the steak. The ball game had been an afternoon affair, so I watched the condensed version on the app. A good win. DW was kind enough to clean up the kitchen for me.

I finished the day trying to rest and recuperate with YouTube videos. I think I've accepted that YouTube is just a substitute for TV for me. Other people watch TV, I watch YouTube in the evening. I watched a Sidetrack Adventure episode, a DIY Outdoor Life episode, and a couple of motorcycle videos. I also did some research on EV charging adapters from ChaDeMo to CCS, but they are expensive, and I am not sure worth the investment once I finish the project. All this brought me to bedtime at 11:02 PM.

'Til We Meet Again!
