Hey There! It's 7:18 PM EST, 51°, mostly cloudy
Day 1 of the trip tp AZ complete. We packed ourselves into the car in the midst of a driving rain and wind storm. Just our luck. I didn't get much sleep overnight, and when I hit the hotel I immediately fell asleep for about an hour. We just finished a Mediterranean takeout dinner.
Nothing much else to report. Left at 8AM and got off the road at 4PM. The rain cleared up the further south and west we went. I was actually surprised to see sunlight later in the day. I keep forgetting that other parts of the country do get sunlight.
The cover for the motorcycle ripped by the time we stopped for gas. Smae thing happened last year. Those things are not conducive to being whipped by the wind.
Nothing else of note, really. If you thought this blog was about not much, it's gonna be about a lot less as we move along.
