Hey There!
I'm writing early in the morning before anything gets done. I don't have anything specific on the calendar today, so I feel like taking it easy. The weekend is supposed to get increasingly warmer, and that limits my ability to be outside. High heat and humidity make being outside difficult. Combine that with the high air quality index from the Canadian wildfires, and the combinations means a lot of time indoors. Rats.
I have to get a damaged A/C unit back to Amazon today somehow. It's heavy, and the box was difficult to take apart carefully, so it's ripped to the point where sealing it up with gaffer's tape is my only option. Then I have to try and get it into my car and over to UPS. These are not chores I enjoy. DW talks about it like it's the easiest thing in the world to do, which irritates me somewhat, because she's not going to be doing any of the heavy lifting.
I also have to work on getting out a small podcast I produced. It appears every two weeks, and my summer production break is almost over. I have the interviews done; just have to edit them and put the finished product together.
And I have to prepare for a week-long road trip. So that means laundry and packing. I guess it's gonna be a pretty busy Friday after all!
