Yesterday I drove with DW to pick up her friend at the airport. She's visiting for a couple of days. Then I took the rest of the day to go camping overnight. Grilled a steak with baked beans. Pleasant evening.
Today will not be so pleasant. Memorial services for an old friend. Maybe the worst thing about becoming older is watching people you love pass away. I wonder if I will make it through the day. It's gonna be a long one.
